Gospel musician and season 3 winner of Mentor fame Eric Oduro, known as Erico, has opened up about the startling cause behind his divorce, shedding light on his ex-wife's betrayal involving nude photos sent to a lover in Dubai.

In an exclusive interview on Emelia Brobbey's Okukuseku show, Erico disclosed the breakdown of trust that led to the dissolution of his marriage.He recounted discovering his wife's infidelity when he feigned a terminal illness to test her loyalty during his battle with kidney disease.

Initially supportive, Erico's wife took a dramatic turn, engaging in explicit conversations and sharing intimate photos with her lover while he was in the same room.“I was on the bed pretending to be asleep and she was on the couch. I heard the camera clicking multiple times and I thought she was taking photos of me in my vulnerable state. However, when I turned, I realized she was naked and sending the photos to a man whom she was talking to on phone. I heard her tell him if he if ‘he was lusting over her photos, he should wait till she shows him proper bedmatics”.The final blow came when Erico, pretending to sleep, witnessed his wife sending nude pictures and promising marriage to her Dubai lover, under the false assumption of Erico's imminent demise.

Confronting her and prioritizing his well-being, Erico made the difficult decision to leave their home and end the marriage, focusing now on his gospel ministry after a successful recovery.
