The paper signed by both Haiti and Kenya's government officials states that they will send ambassadors to each other's countries. Kenya wants to send 1,000 police officers to Haiti to help with international support. The government of Haiti asked for assistance from other countries last year to deal with a lot of gang violence happening. The United States is leading the United Nations in arranging a mission to rescue people. A proposal is being written.
