The lingering effect of past gunshot incidents has led Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, to a sobering realization that good health is far more valuable than many realize.
Angela Okorie reported an assassination attempt made on his life in 2019. As a result 10 bullets were removed from her “head,” while an additional two were also taken out from near her eyes.
According to her, more fragments have been coming out little by little over the years, but not all of them have been removed.
Taking to Instagram, Madam Okorie revealed that “Last two weeks have been so hectic, lovers. It’s been one hospital or the other running some series of tests on my head and body. Haven’t been feeling too well so my doctor advised I should be placed on bed rest."
"Seriously, good health is underestimated. I went for my checkups; it was found that there are still fragments of bullet pellets on my head.As years go by, more still comes out. But at the end, it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy,” she wrote.
Last month, Ghanaian gospel musician Efe Grace also expressed gratitude to God for saving her from a deadly accident, which reminded her to appreciate the gift of life.
She shared a video on her social media page showing the damaged state of her vehicle after the accident.
She asserts that the accident could have ended her life but for the mercy of God, she is still alive.
She wrote on Instagram, “I'm just here to say thank you, Jesus! Didn't even know why this song kept coming to me, and just within 14 hours after ministration, this happens!!
"Today, l'm reminded that life is truly a gift and I just want to take a moment to publicly thank God."
“I survived what could've been a fatal accident, and I know it was only by the mercy and grace of God."
"What the enemy meant for evil, God turned into a testimony. I'm still here, not by luck, but by divine protection. Thank You, Lord, for sparing my life. I will never stop giving You the Glory.”
