The Communications Director of the Bawumia Campaign Team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has called on Ghanaians to rally behind Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in his bid for the presidency in the 2024 elections.

Mr Aboagye anticipates significant economic advancement across various sectors under Bawumia's leadership, promising an enhancement in citizens' livelihoods.

Highlighting the democratic process, Aboagye emphasized the electorate's authority to replace Bawumia if his performance falls short of expectations.

Speaking with Okay FM and reported by GhanaWeb, Aboagye expressed faith in Bawumia's ability to meet the nation's aspirations if elected president.

"Dr. Bawumia is committed to offering beneficial policies to the populace. He appeals to the nation for a chance to lead and make a positive impact. Should his tenure prove satisfactory, he may continue. Otherwise, the public can elect a new leader. His primary opponent is a former president [Mahama]," said Aboagye.

Dr. Bawumia faces competition from John Dramani Mahama, the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and other candidates in his quest for the presidency.

The general elections are slated for December 7, 2024.
