Ras Kuuku born Kojo Kurankye, a singer, has slammed Ghanaians over the current look-alike craze claiming there’s nothing funny, jovial, or comic about it.
He told Amansan Krakye in an interview “People shouldn’t see this thing as funny or comic because it’s nothing like that and we shouldn’t joke with the work of an artiste.
“If they continue on that tangent it’ll make the whole thing seem like we’re joking or engaging in some comedy of a sort,” Ras Kuuku remarked.
Speaking on Cape Coast-based Property FM, the ‘3 3 & 1’ hitmaker said the wannabe celebs are being mocked by the media outlets who are granting them interviews.
He added “I don’t agree with those granting the lookalikes interviews in the media space because they ought to know we’re serious-minded people in Ghana.
“Many artistes have invested hugely into their craft with huge sums of money and now others portray themselves as lookalikes,” he revealed seen by MyNewsGh.com
“When these lookalikes are granted interviews by the media, they might think they wish them well but they are actually making a mockery of them which they don’t know,” he ended on Property Showbiz.
