Thomas Teye Partey, Black Stars midfielder, failed to make the 10-man of shortlisted players for the 2018 African Player of the Year award. The Atletico Madrid midfielder, was initially named in the 34-man shortlisted by Confederation of Africa Football (CAF), last month.Egyptian and Liverpool forward, Mohammed Salah, who currently holds the accolade, has also been named in the shortlist, with his country teammate Walid Soliman also included in the list.
