Ghana’s passport website is temporarily down, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry announced this in a statement on Tuesday, August 25, informing potential applicants about the downtime, citing technical challenges.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to inform its valued customers, particularly those who may be experiencing challenges accessing our website for passport applications, that "passport.mfa.gov.gh" is currently experiencing technical issues and is therefore temporarily down, parts of the statement read.
Consequently, “Our technical team is feverishly working with the National Signals Bureau to resolve the problem as quickly as possible”.
The Ministry went on to apologise for ”the inconvenience this issue has caused. The Ministry will provide an update once the problem is resolved”.
