Apex Africa Concept have finally opened official nominations for the second edition of the Ghana Change Makers Awards (GHACMA25).

This is set to be opened from 6th August to 19th September 2025.

The organisers emphasised that the awards does not end at being recognized, but serves as a leverage to amplify the voices and initiatives of those driving sustainable change.

“We believe that changemakers deserve to be celebrated for their hard work, sacrifices, and vision. This year’s edition will be even bigger and more inclusive, showcasing the diversity and resilience of Ghanaian excellence,” Osman Nuhu, Apex Africa Concept C.E.O stated.

Ghana Change Makers Awards is a prestigious awards scheme that seeks to recognise and celebrate individuals and organisations making remarkable strides to social, economic, and community transformation across Ghana.

It was initially initiated to highlight the dedication, innovation, and leadership of inidivials creating meaningful impact across sectors such as education, health, and technology to arts, entrepreneurship, and humanitarian work.

By honouring these exemplary figures, the awards aim to inspire others to take action in shaping a better Ghana.

The Ghana Change Makers Awards 2025 promises to be a night of inspiration, recognition, and celebration, bringing together visionaries and leaders who are changing the narrative for Ghana’s future.

Last year, The Ghana Change Makers marked it inaugural edition, themed “Celebrating Men and Women of Impact,”

Nominations were opened from July 10 to September 17, 2024, where individuals and organizations dedicated to making significant contributions to communities, industries, and society at large were encouraged to showcase their achievements and be honoured in a ceremony that promises to spotlight true change makers.

It also embodies the essence of Ghana's rich tapestry of progress shaped by tireless champions of change.

The efforts of those who have brought about notable transformations within their fields of education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, environmental conservation, social justice, or any other arena where impact is being felt were also honored.

Last year's initiative was inclusive because it welcomed nominations from every corner of the country, and ensured that voices from diverse backgrounds and experiences are recognized.

Apex Africa Concept, Organizers of the awards emphasize that the recognition extends beyond high-profile figures; they seek to celebrate everyday heroes—the grassroots activists, community leaders, innovative thinkers, and steadfast volunteers who work tirelessly against the odds.

The Executive Director for the Ghana Change Makers Awards, Osman Nuhu, said, “Every nomination matters. We want to shine a light on those whose stories might not always make headlines but are crucial in shaping a better, more equitable society.”

Nominations were permitted to be submitted through the official awards website, www.Apexafricaconcept.com.

One of the eligibility criterias was to be a Ghanaian and excel in the field you find yourself in.

The process was transparent and straightforward, allowing anyone who knows a deserving individual or organization to put them forward for consideration. Winners were selected by a research committee and a public voting were made to select winners.
