Kwasi Kwarteng, the former Chancellor of the Exchequer of the United Kingdom, has acknowledged that he "got carried away" while holding the position.The former minister of finance admitted as much to the Financial Times, as reported by the BBC, and claimed that he was "too impatient" with the mini-budget when he and his boss, the former prime minister Liz Truss, unveiled the huge package of disastrous cuts.
