This 14-carat gold-plated bronze casket, reportedly costing $30,000, was en route to the ancient town of Nkoranza in the Brong-Ahafo Region for the burial of Madam Abena Achiaa, who passed away on March 16, 2016, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

Madam Abena Achiaa, aged 71 at the time of her passing, was the CEO of Achiaa FM in Nkoranza and the mother of Ghanaian business magnate Nick Danso, recognied as one of Ghana’s most dynamic entrepreneurs.
