Late Ghanaian gospel sensation Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, popularly known as KODA, song sparked heated discussion within the Christian community.The song, aimed at addressing perceived deviations from true spirituality in some churches, garnered both praise and criticism.

Known for chart-topping releases like "Guide me o Jehova" and "Nkwa Abodoo," KODA steadfast belief that his musical direction is guided by divine purpose, despite facing opposition from certain unnamed churches in Ghana.

In an exclusive telephone interview, the Takoradi-based musician expressed his expectation of backlash, citing the song's provocative themes."I even said in the song that this song will not be loved by all," KODA reiterated.

The controversy surrounding "Nsem Pii" stems from its critique of churches allegedly straying from their spiritual foundations, drawing inspiration from the Acts of the Apostles.KODA urged listeners to approach the song with an open mind, emphasising the need for careful consideration before passing judgement.

As the debate rages on, KODA remained resolute in his mission to address pertinent issues through his music, undeterred by the polarized response his work has elicited within the religious community.
