A fuel tanker yard belonging to Goodness Energy at Kpone was on Wednesday [2 October] night gutted by fire.

Fifteen tankers were torched leading to a loss of millions of cedis.

It is not clear what caused the fire which begun at about 8pm.

About five fire tenders reported to the accident scene to help douse the inferno.

Investigations have begun to unravel the cause of the fire.
