Afrobeat superstar Davido is in the news after unexpectedly announcing album tours throughout Europe.
Davido stated in his announcement that since the release of his most recent album, performing for his fans has been one of his greatest joys in life.
However, due to a few problems, he has chosen to move the remainder of his previously scheduled shows across Europe from this year to the first quarter of 2024.
Globally famous Nigerian Davido is trending online as his Oyinbo superstars have begun criticising him for cancelling his European album tours.
Late on September 9, 2023, Davido made an upsetting announcement that his European album tour was off. Many of his white fans found this to be offensive.
The Nigerian singer explained that he and his team decided to cancel the tour due to some ongoing production problems.
The Afrobeat musician also urged his followers not to recycle or return their tickets in his statement.
He added that his remaining European tour, which was postponed this year, would be moved to the first quarter of 2024.
Davido urged his followers to hold onto their tickets because new dates for his concerts would soon be revealed.
