1 min readThe Appointments Committee of Parliament is set to resume its vetting process today, Tuesday, January 21, with three ministerial nominees scheduled to appear. The session marks another step in assessing candidates for key government positions.

Among those to face the committee are Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, the Minister-Designate for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry; Ahmed Ibrahim, the Minister-Designate for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs; and Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, the Minister-Designate for Gender, Children, and Social Protection.

This follows the successful vetting of several nominees in previous sessions, including Haruna Iddrisu, the Minister-Designate for Education; Eric Opoku, the Minister-Designate for Agriculture; and Kwame Governs Agbodza, the Minister-Designate for Roads and Highways. Other nominees who have appeared include Dr.
