Six executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region have filed a petition against Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Wontumi, who currently serves as the regional chairman.
The petition accuses Wontumi of various shortcomings, including a failure to convene important meetings, neglecting regional executives, and underutilizing party structures.
These allegations suggest a lack of cohesion and effective leadership within the party.
The petitioners are calling for urgent action to address these issues, proposing a postponement of the regional inauguration of the campaign team to allow for a thorough examination and resolution of the concerns raised.
As the NPP faces internal challenges, there is a growing need for the party leadership to respond decisively and navigate the organisation back on track towards its objectives.
