Before the League Cup quarterfinal clash on Friday between Inter Miami and Charlotte FC, a notable occurrence took place as Argentine icon Lionel Messi accompanied David Beckham's daughter onto the pitch.

This event involved both teams' starting lineups.

This followed Messi's earlier engagement, when he walked out alongside Asahd, the son of DJ Khaled, before a match against Atlanta United.

In the context of the League Cup, Inter Miami was squaring off against Charlotte FC in the quarterfinal, with the victor progressing to potentially face the Philadelphia Union or Queretaro.
