2 mins readAspiring Parliamentary Candidate for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency, Alfred Obeng-Boateng has donated a total of Three Thousand (3,000) pieces of hand sanitizers and Veronica buckets to residents of the constituency to help the community combat the COVID-19 infection.

The donation was made through the Municipal Health Directorate on Monday, March 30, 2020, and is expected to be distributed amongst market women in the constituency, police officers, prison inmates, health workers at both government and private hospitals and clinics, the three Traditional Councils, and Executives of the various Transport unions in the area.

Speaking to the media after the donations, Mr Obeng-Boateng indicated that the donation is in a bid to provide the necessary equipment for the compliance of the preventive measures needed to fight against the pandemic.“At this moment, it is believed that we are all aware of the existence of COVID-19 and its concomitant effects on humanity hence I need not bother you on that.

What is more important here is the preventive measures one needs to practice and the ingredients needed for that.“This is the moment society needs us most to extend a helping hand to others. Obviously it is not everybody who can afford to purchase a single piece of sanitizer easily to protect himself or herself.
