This closed-door hearing, taking place under the oversight of Justice John Eugene Nyadu Nyante, will focus on claims presented by Attorney General Dr. Dominic Ayine, who is pushing for Adu-Boahene’s bail to be revoked based on suspicions of witness interference.

The Attorney General is expected to provide additional details during the session, which falls under what is legally termed a “consequential trial” — a post-judgment proceeding that deals with implementing or responding to decisions already made in court.
2
According to the Attorney General, recent surveillance has suggested that the accused may have attempted to meddle with the prosecution’s case by influencing potential witnesses.
3
Lawyer Samuel Atta Akyea will be present to defend his client as the judge weighs the evidence before deciding whether prison custody is justified at this stage of the criminal case.

Kwabena Adu-Boahene stands accused alongside his wife, another individual, and their company. Together, they face eleven charges, including stealing, conspiracy to steal, money laundering, and abuse of office. The alleged offences relate to a fraudulent cybersecurity contract involving ISC Holdings Limited, an Israeli firm, during Adu-Boahene’s tenure in office. All the accused parties have entered not guilty pleas.
