Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay recently discussed the heartbreak that led to the creation of her hit song 'Survivor' on UTV’s ‘UCook With Empress Gifty’.

She explained that the emotional pain from her breakup fueled the song's composition, noting that heartbreak is a common experience for everyone.

Reflecting on the end of her relationship, Wendy Shay expressed satisfaction with her decision, feeling happier and more radiant.

She suggested that her demanding lifestyle contributed to the breakup and advised those with busy schedules to balance their time to maintain healthy relationships.

"Relationships take effort and attention," she said. "Without proper balance, even the most dedicated relationships can suffer."

Currently, Wendy Shay is enjoying her single life and focusing on her personal well-being.

She proudly shared that 'Survivor' has achieved significant success in South Africa, becoming one of the most popular Ghanaian songs there.

'Survivor,' released in 2022, was produced by MOG Beatz, and its music video was directed by Prince Dovlo.
