Ghanaian journalist Bridget Otoo has strongly criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia accusing him of being a "certified liar."
She asserts that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer ought not to be trusted with his promises.
She further critiqued the NPP foot soldiers.
In a passionate Twitter post, Otoo expressed her frustration and addressed issues concerning NPP foot soldiers.
Otoo urged National Democratic Congress (NDC) foot soldiers to refrain from comparing themselves with their NPP counterparts.
She criticized NPP supporters for their refusal to acknowledge or correct mistakes, even when faced with clear evidence.
She attributed this behavior to their leaders, who she claims intentionally spread falsehoods about NDC's presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama.
Otoo pointed out that while NPP figures make misleading statements about Mahama, he maintains accuracy and transparency when addressing his opponents.
She contrasted this with the behavior of NPP foot soldiers, who, in her view, perpetuate fake news without accountability.
In her tweet, Otoo mentioned that while she will block NDC foot soldiers who spread misinformation, she prefers to engage with more credible voices within the party.
