In a previous interview with Delay in 2020, Ayisha Modi had claimed that she owned a four-bedroom house in East Legon Agiringanor, which she received as a gift from her 'god-parents,' Reverend Obofour and his wife, Queen Ciara. Her aim was to highlight the strength of her relationship with the couple.

She had stated, "All my lands are in East Legon. Currently, I have five plots there. My house is located in East Legon, Agiringanor. Behind Rawlings’ house. It was given to me by Rev. Obofour and his wife. It has four master bedrooms."

However, in a recent interview with Zionfelix, Ayisha Modi contradicted her previous statements. She vehemently denied that her East Legon home was a gift from Obofour and his wife, asserting that the level of luxury she desires is beyond what anyone else can afford.

Responding to a question about whether her East Legon house was gifted by Rev. Obofour and his wife, Ayisha firmly stated, "That is not true. It is never true. Let me tell you something, what I can afford for myself, nobody can afford for me. I am telling you the truth. What I can buy for people, they can’t even afford for themselves."

When asked if they had ever gifted her land, she replied, "No. I am the one who gives out lands."

Recent rumors have suggested a strained relationship between Ayisha and the couple whom she had previously held in high regard. However, she clarified that, "They are still my godparents. When Diamond Appiah spoke ill of them, I came out to address it."
