Addressing these claims in an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb’s Isaac Dazie, Medikal dismissed the notion, passionately defending rap’s longevity.

“Rap can never die. With people like me existing, rap can never be dead. Unless I’m dead,” declared the “Too Risky” hitmaker.

Reflecting on his successful 2024, which included a sold-out show in the United Kingdom, Medikal credited his accomplishments to divine intervention and unwavering support from his fans.

“It’s God and my fans. Without God and my fans, I’m nobody. They keep me going,” he said.

Looking ahead to 2025, Medikal offered advice to the incoming government and fellow Ghanaians. He urged leaders to prioritize the welfare of citizens and encouraged Ghanaians to remain resilient, happy, and cautious about their health and safety.

Sharing a glimpse of his plans for the coming year, he teased an even more intense output, saying, “This year I was crazy; next year, I’ll be mad.”
