A prominent figure in the Movement for Change, Solomon Owusu, has argued that President Akufo-Addo's response to the 'Agyapadie' document confirms its authenticity.
Mr Owusu asserted that the president’s claim that the document was created by his political rival actually validates its legitimacy.
He contends that the 'Agyapadie' document was crafted by select members of the Akyem clan and is a well-executed piece.
Owusu believes that even without the document, the current events unfolding would still have taken place.
He expressed his views during an appearance on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM, stating that alongside the Bible, which he considers a record of true events, the 'Agyapadie' document is the next significant text with real-world implications.
“President Akufo-Addo has told us that the book exists, and so the document is no longer a fake document. He knows the book exists. Apart from the Bible with unfolding true events, the next book that is closer to the Bible is the ‘Agyapadie’ document. This is not a political party document. This is a document executed by some members of the Akyem clan. Even if this book had not existed, I know this was how the clan would be planning about the country.”
He cited a section of the document that allegedly details a conspiracy against Francisca Oteng due to her support for Alan Kyerematen and highlighted that the document also portrays President Akufo-Addo’s animosity towards Kyerematen and his allies.
