The Ghana Black Stars squad is set to receive a qualification bonus of $30,000 each if they progress to the next round of the AFCON 2023.

The Ghana Football Association, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, has adopted a system where the team earns a qualification bonus instead of the traditional winning bonus.

Under this new arrangement, even if the team doesn't secure victory in any of their three group games but manages to qualify for the next round, each player will receive $30,000.

This marks a departure from the previous structure, where the winning bonus for each group game was $10,000. The combined potential bonus for winning all three group games now stands at $30,000, provided they qualify for the knockout stage.

In summary, upon qualifying for the next stage, whether as the 2nd team in Group B or one of the fortunate 3rd-placed teams, the 27-man squad and their technical team will receive a $30,000 qualification bonus each.
