Sources within Manchester United have indicated to ESPN that the club is not pursuing a potential deal for Tottenham's midfielder, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Despite rumors linking the Danish international to a loan move at Old Trafford, the focus for United is currently centered on acquiring a left-back.
This urgency is driven by the injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
Manchester United's primary target for the left-back position is believed to be Chelsea's Marc Cucurella.
Alongside their pursuit of a new full-back, the club is actively working on offloading players such as Donny van de Beek, Eric Bailly, and Scott McTominay.
It's worth noting that even though Erik ten Hag, United's manager, has a prior connection with Hojbjerg from their time at Bayern Munich II, approximately a decade ago, the sources have confirmed that Manchester United does not have any intention of pursuing the former Southampton player.
