Four individuals have been reported dead following clashes in Zogbee, located in the Mion District of the Northern Region.Although it is yet to be verified the number of casualties, assemblyman Alhassan Abukari from the Sambu Electoral Area has confirmed the deaths.According to Mr. Abukari, the violence erupted over a land dispute. The Regent of Mion, Alhassan Abdulia Mahamadu, had designated the land for a mechanisation center.

However, some residents resisted when construction began, resulting in the unrest.Mr. Abukari noted that police efforts to mediate the situation earlier in the day had failed.
