The expelled members are now barred from presenting themselves as affiliated with the NPP, holding any party positions, attending or participating in party activities, or displaying party symbols or flags. This action stems from multiple complaints made by party members, accusing the expelled individuals of supporting independent candidates, aligning with other political parties, and running as independents in the recent parliamentary elections.
