The accident happened early Thursday morning and also left the driver and another passenger in very critical condition.

1

Nkawkaw Municipal Fire Commander, DOII Samuel Mantey, said his team quickly responded after receiving a call for help and rushed to the scene.

2

When they got there, they saw that a cargo truck with the registration number ER 3428-X had crashed into a DAFF truck that was parked by the side of the road.

3

The two injured people were taken right away to the Holy Family Hospital in Nkawkaw for emergency care. The bodies of the two women who died were also sent to the hospital’s morgue.

4

Speaking to Adom News, Commander Mantey advised drivers to be more careful, especially during the Easter season, so that such painful accidents can be avoided.
