Ghanaian actor and politician, John Dumelo joined forces with popular YouTuber Wode Maya and the BuzStop Boys for a sanitation campaign on Monday, March 31, 2025.

In a video shared by blogger Sika Official on X (formerly Twitter), Dumelo, who serves as the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon and Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture, was seen working alongside Wode Maya and the BuzStop Boys to clean gutters at Okponglo.

Dumelo used a shovel to remove sand clogging the gutters, which was preventing water from flowing freely.

He poured the sand into a pan to help clear the blockage. Additionally, he donated GH₵10,000 to cover the clearance fee for the BuzStop Boys' newly imported mini excavator.

Since taking office as MP, Dumelo has been dedicated to addressing development challenges in his constituency. Recently, he received widespread praise for solving traffic issues at Okponglo Junction.

He worked with the Department of Urban Roads to install a traffic signal controller, ensuring the malfunctioning traffic lights were fixed and functioning properly.
