Florence Obinim, gospel musician and wife of Bishop Daniel Obinim, has come to the defense of actress Benedicta Gafah, who has been the subject of social media rumors alleging she is romantically involved with her husband.

In a video shared on February 17, 2025, Florence expressed concern over the damaging claims and how they could affect Gafah’s reputation and her prospects of finding a partner.

"Benedicta Gafah is single and she doesn’t even have kids. She would be happy if a man were to marry her today so she can start giving birth. So why would you lie just to tarnish her image?" Florence said in the video. "The woman who is behind all these lies is also fond of stealing people’s husbands after she gives a fake prophecy. All her children are from different men," she added, addressing the person allegedly spreading these rumors.

Florence also used the opportunity to address persistent rumors about her own appearance.

"Some people also criticized me and made all sorts of claims that I had bleached. I haven’t bleached, and that is my natural color," she clarified.

These remarks come in response to earlier reports on social media claiming that Benedicta Gafah was involved in an extramarital affair with Florence’s husband, Bishop Daniel Obinim. Florence firmly rejected these allegations, stating that no other woman could take her husband from her.

"I am not aware of any such developments," she said in a video response. "No woman has the ability to take my husband away from me."
