Artiste manager Bullgod has come to the defense of Apostle Solomon Oduro following the negative reactions to his divorce from Rev. Charlotte Oduro.

During an appearance on United Showbiz on February 16, 2025, Bullgod called for the public to show fairness towards Apostle Oduro, emphasizing the hardships he endured throughout the marriage.

He contended that Apostle Oduro is the true victim in the situation, not Charlotte Oduro, referencing viral videos in which she acknowledged mistreating her ex-husband.

"I don't see any reason why a man of God like that would lie to the public… With all seriousness, what she did wasn't right. For her to consistently go out there and wash their dirty linen in public… If the man had been the one to beat her, or done all that the woman did, Ghanaians would have dragged him," he said.

Bullgod further clarified that Apostle Solomon Oduro did not reveal the divorce to damage Charlotte Oduro’s reputation but because there was a breakdown in communication between them.

"If there had been some understanding between them, I think they would have issued a joint press statement. But because something was wrong, that is why he said that alone," he added.

Bullgod also stated that if he had been in Apostle Solomon Oduro’s shoes, he would have retaliated to some of the physical confrontations from his wife.

"If I were the one she hit in the balls, I would have hit her back. If a woman can beat a man, then we can also conclude that a man can beat a woman. We can't sit here while a man is being bullied. Hitting him doesn't pain me as much as tarnishing his image in public," he stated.
