Ghanaian actor and politician John Dumelo is making headlines after Presbyterian Boys Secondary School, Presec Legon, emerged as the winners of the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).

Following the semi-finals on October 22, PRESEC, Opoku Ware Senior High School, and Achimota Senior High School advanced to the finals. John Dumelo expressed a commitment to walk barefooted backwards to the PRESEC Legon premises if they won against Achimota SHS.

Taking to his Twitter handle he wrote “I am a proud Achimotan but If presec wins the #NSMQ2023 on the 31st I will walk barefoot backwards from Ayawaso West Wuogon to presec school! They can’t win over Motown! Presec? Tweeeaa!!!” he posted.

Now that PRESEC has secured their victory in the competition with a 40-28-20 score over Achimota and OWASS, social media users are reminding John Dumelo of his promise.

They're urging him to prepare to fulfill his commitment to walk barefooted backwards to PRESEC Legon.
