Actor Prince David Osei has publicly declared his support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the upcoming general elections, urging Ghanaians to vote for the party to ensure prosperity and progress for the nation.
During his speech at the NPP manifesto launch in Takoradi on Sunday, Osei expressed his unwavering confidence in the party’s leadership, especially lauding the achievements of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He emphasized that the NPP has the necessary vision and solutions to propel Ghana forward and fully unlock its potential.
"NDC will send us into an abyss of disaster .A vote for the NPP is a vote for posterity," Osei asserted, acknowledging the global economic challenges affecting many countries, including the UK, US, Canada, and Nigeria. He warned that choosing any other party could lead Ghana into severe difficulties. "
The alternative will send us into an abyss of disaster," he cautioned, insisting that the NPP is the only party capable of advancing the country.
Osei also reminded Ghanaians of the support provided by the NPP government during the COVID-19 pandemic, including free electricity, water, and financial aid for small businesses.
He praised the party's progress in digitalization, citing the digital property address system and the Ghana Card as significant achievements to consider in the upcoming elections.
"Vote for progress. Vote Bawumia. Vote Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the incoming president," Osei urged, expressing his belief that Dr. Bawumia's leadership would build on the progress already made by the current administration.
