Ghanaian Highlife musician Tic Tac has revealed that his wife's recent birthday celebration was more than just a party but a heartfelt expression of gratitude after she survived a life-threatening ordeal.

In an interview with Zionfelix on February 17, 2025, Tic Tac, who has been married for 15 years, shared that his wife's traumatic experience in 2024 made him realize the importance of cherishing every moment.

"It's her birthday, and some people would buy cars on birthdays, but I just got her a pool house. The reason for doing that is straightforward. In life, we live once and not twice, and when you see something happening and get the chance to survive, you have to go all out," he said.

While he refrained from disclosing details of the incident, he acknowledged how deeply it affected both of them.

"What I saw and what my wife went through, I just give glory and honour to God. I’m not typically into birthdays, but when it’s a big celebration like this, I think we need to make it happen because she nearly lost her life," he added.

Beyond celebrating life, Tic Tac also reflected on the strength of his marriage and offered advice to singles on choosing a life partner.

"She was my best friend before I married her, and she has been ever since. Let your wife be your best friend because when she is your best friend, you won't see it as marriage. All you would see is a companion... We fight, but at the end of the day, we resolve our differences. My wife is like my brother and sister," he shared.
