Controversial radio presenter Blakk Rasta has made a bold declaration, stating that he will leave the country if Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia emerges victorious in the upcoming presidential elections.
With campaign activities underway for both the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress, Blakk Rasta voiced his intentions during his Black Pot show on Thursday, February 8.
He asserted that he would relocate with his family and belongings, including his pets, and only return if Dr. Bawumia is voted out of power.
Expressing concerns about potential hardships under Dr. Bawumia's leadership, Blakk Rasta emphasised his stance on the matter.
“If Bawumia wins the next election, I am out of this nation. I am carrying my children, I am carrying my dogs and my goats and every little thing out of this nation until Bawumia gets out of power. It means that we are numb to suffering,” he said on 3FM.
Blakk Rasta's statement comes in the wake of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's address to Ghanaians regarding his presidential vision.
During his speech on Wednesday, February 7, Dr. Bawumia outlined numerous initiatives for the country's future under his potential presidency. However, some of his proposals have sparked criticism from the public.
Many Ghanaians express concerns that Dr. Bawumia cannot distance himself from the perceived mismanagement of the economy since he is part of the current government.
