2 mins readGhanaian music sensation Stonebwoy, fondly called 1Gad, has announced that his fifth studio album will feature some of the biggest names in the music industry. The album, which is set to drop soon, will have about 18 tracks and will include collaborations with heavyweights such as Shaggy from Jamaica and Africa's Angelique Kidjo.

Stonebwoy, who is currently on a promotional tour in the United States of America (USA), expressed excitement about the album and revealed that he has a few surprises in store. "There are some heavy names on there. I don't even know if I can release it right now, but I could drop it, and I am going to drop it over here [in America]," he said.

In addition to Shaggy and Kidjo, the album will also feature Dexta Daps, a Jamaican singer known for his romantic ballads. According to Stonebwoy, the collaboration with Dexta Daps is "for the ladies."The album will not only showcase commercially successful acts, but also niche market female artists that Stonebwoy believes in. He wants to create something organic and not forced, as he believes that will result in a better product.

The album will feature a fusion of Amapiano and Reggae sounds, with Stonebwoy putting his Dancehall flavour and unique style into the mix. In fact, the album will also feature one of the biggest artists and DJs from South Africa, Maporisa. Stonebwoy assures fans that the album will have something for everyone, including a Reggae song and other beautiful tracks.

He also made headlines for his 65th Grammy appearance, where he went on a networking spree.On March 11, 2023, Stonebwoy took to Twitter to announce that he and his partners Def Jam Recordings had listened to the album in its entirety. Fans can't wait to get their hands on this highly-anticipated album.
