2 mins readVeteran Kumawood actress Christiana Awuni has shared a deeply personal revelation about how past relationships and marriage have left her emotionally scarred, making it difficult for her to consider love again.

Speaking about her experiences, Awuni disclosed that her marriage was filled with trauma, leading her to develop a fear of romantic relationships.

"Due to what I went through in marriage and relationships, I no longer have feelings for men. I can be good friends with a man for many years, but as soon as he proposes to me, I stop talking to him. The trauma from my marriage has left a scar on me, so whenever someone proposes, I get scared,” she revealed.

She further recounted the harsh realities she endured, including physical abuse and neglect, which took a toll on her health.

"I even got an ulcer because I was poorly fed. The man I married had money and was also rich, but he stopped providing for my children and me immediately after we got married," she said.

Given her painful past, Awuni has ruled out the possibility of remarrying or entering another relationship.

"I don't think I would ever get married or go into another relationship. I don't want to give love another chance because of what I went through," she stated.
