Ghanaian actor and politician, John Dumelo is proud he took the bold decision to marry because according to him marriage has made him more responsible and focused in life.

John Dumelo and his wife, Gifty Mawunya Nkornu, got married in May 2019 at the Royal Senchi Resort in Akosombo and welcomed their first child in October that year.

“I think it [marriage] has made me more responsible and focused in life because now you have a family and have to work extra hard to take care of the family. It is not just about you, it is about us” Dumelo said on KOD Meets show.

Mr Dumelo is seeking to go to parliament on the ticket of NDC this year. He is contesting the parliamentary seat at Ayawaso West Wougon Constituency.
