Veteran actor, Samuel Karikari, popularly known as Koo Ofori has arrived at the Dansoman Circuit Court over allegations of defruading a California-based victim.

He is reported to have defrauded the victim an amount of $50,000 under the guise of a legitimate investment opportunity but failed to honour the agreement and went into hiding.

The victim, whose identity is unknown, reported the alleged fraud case to authorities after several unsuccessful attempts to recover the funds from the Bryt TV general manager.

Koo Fori has appeared in Court today to respond to question regarding the fraud case as part of efforts to resolve the matter.
