Legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw recently disclosed that he has seven children from different women. He has two sets of twins and three other children from separate relationships. Ampaw's first wife passed away on February 18, 2021, and he remarried in 2022. During an interview on The Delay Show, he explained that his extramarital affairs while his wife was alive resulted in the birth of three children.

Ampaw asserted that his ability to father children with multiple women demonstrates his versatility and responsibility. After his wife's death, he realized his children needed motherly care, as they were neglected by the extended family. He decided to marry Celestina, who had been a friend for over seven years, because she provided the necessary affection to his twins.

He confidently addressed criticisms of his actions, stating that he had good intentions for every woman he had children with and did not consider his behavior reckless. Ampaw emphasized that his marriage to Celestina was not solely for his children's sake but also because of his admiration for her. He added that his bond with Celestina, who took care of him during his visits to Kumasi, made the decision to marry her after his wife’s death easier.
