Rex Omar emphasized that the Black Star Experience is designed to showcase the best of Ghana – from culture and fashion to food and lifestyle. He called on every citizen to see themselves as part of this national branding effort.

“Every Ghanaian, when you wake up in the morning, ask yourself: I am the Black Star. What is going to be my experience today? What am I doing to shine the Black Star?” he said.
4
He also urged young Ghanaians to consciously support and promote local businesses, including wearing clothes made by Ghanaian designers and consuming locally produced food.
5
“Even if it’s a suit you want, ask yourself, was this made by a Ghanaian designer? Let’s spend our money on Ghanaian products,” he added.

According to Rex Omar, creating a compelling image of Ghana online goes beyond tourism – it’s about identity, pride, and ownership. “People want to come and feel us, experience us. We must show them something worth coming for, not just the land, but the culture, the people, the food, the fashion, and the spirit of Ghana,” he stressed.
7
Through the Black Star Experience initiative, he believes every Ghanaian has a role to play in putting the nation’s best foot forward and inviting the world to experience Ghana in its fullness.
