Social media influencer, Dulcie Boateng, has revealed that her rise to wealth was influenced by guidelines she received from a man involved in fraud.

According to her, about seven years ago, she traveled outside Ghana, where she encountered a fraudster who shared some wealth tips with her.

She applied all the knowledge gathered from the fraud boy, and that is how she began to thrive financially.

"In 2018, I travelled to Singapore and I met this guy. He was so intelligent, and I told him all my plans in life. We didn't work out but he did something really small which helped me... He gave me things I could work with and he was so smart. Everything he said made sense and I carried it in my business and there was an instant change one month later," the influencer expressed in a video on X.

Adding that, "Business was good as a girl making GH¢ 400 to GH¢ 1,000 a month... It changed everything about my way of doing business and the strategies I was using because he told me how to sell. He wasn't an influencer. He was a fraud boy and he was smart. That is why they can do what they do," she said.

"You know what the rich men would be like I started my business with one egg, I started my with GH¢ 400 phone," she added.

Weeks ago, Dulcie revealed that ‘Snapchat work’ enabled her to gift her mother GH₵500,000 as a birthday present last year in addition to buying her two Range Rover vehicles in 2021 and 2022.

She explains that her mother deserved the gesture because of the agony she has been through for years.

"I stressed that woman when I was young, so she deserves it."
