Ghanaian musician and social media personality, Archipalago, has declared himself a prophet.
He attributes his self-acclaimed title to a prediction he made that Kumasi-based rapper, Kwaku Smoke, will make it in the music industry, and that has come to pass.
"I'm a prophet because I see things and I have intuition. So whenever I say something, it comes to pass—that's why I was telling them about Kweku Smoke. I told him he's going to blow, and he's blown, and his [success] is outstanding," Archipalago said during an interview with Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime’s Changes show.
Kwaku Smoke's song titled "Holy Ghost" won him the Best Rap Performance award while he lost Artiste of the Year award to King Promise in this year's TGMAs.
During the interview, Archipalago also revealed that he made it to the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) without a ticket.
He mentioned that he was positive about being allowed to enter the auditorium of the event, though he didn't know how.
However, the Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture, John Dumelo, helped him to get access to the event.
“When I got there, I knew I would be permitted to enter because I’m Archipalago. But when I got there, it wasn’t like that. So I told my homeboy I went with that he should wait for me to get a ticket and enter the auditorium and see what will happen. That was even a prophecy I told my boy.”
