Founder of Heaven Way Chapel, Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has come out strongly in defense of a viral video showing her receiving a cash gift from Ghana Goldbod CEO, Sammy Gyamfi.

Addressing the controversy in a recent live video, Agradaa said there was nothing wrong with the gesture and insisted she was deserving of the money.

1

“If Sammy chooses to give me money, I deserve it. But if it’s going to bring him trouble, then I’ll return it. It’s no big deal, I am worth it,” she said.

2

Nana Agradaa's comment follows public backlash after a video surfaced showing the controversial evangelist flaunting dollar bills handed to her by Sammy Gyamfi.

3

The footage sparked concerns over the appropriteness of such an exchange, partricularly between a state official and a religious leader with a controversial past.

4

The former fetish priestess and spiritualist, however , claimed she was unaware she was being recorded at the time.

5

“Someone secretly took the video and shared it online. I didn’t know I was being recorded, that’s why I was seen showing off the money. When I later heard it was trending, I decided to speak up, even though I was advised to stay silent,” she explained.
