In a video shared online on February 17, 2025, the respected Ghanaian pastor stressed the importance of using the dating period for understanding one's partner rather than engaging in physical intimacy.

“Remember that dating is not for mating or for coupling. When you start going out with somebody, it's not for you to have sex together. Because mating will cloud your judgment. Your period of meeting is the period of gathering data,” Bishop Agyinasare explained to his congregation.

The bishop emphasized that rushing into physical intimacy could hinder one's ability to truly get to know the other person, potentially leading to poor decisions.

He further warned that not thoroughly understanding a partner before marriage could result in greater complications down the line.
4
“The truth of the matter is, if you don't do more work on the person you are going to marry before you marry, you will do more work after the marriage,” he added.

His advice highlights the need for couples to prioritize emotional and mental compatibility over physical attraction, aiming for a deeper understanding before committing to lifelong partnerships.
