Deborah Seyram Adablah has reportedly been ordered for immediate arrest by the Accra High Court for contempt.

The court's decision follows two videos posted by Adablah on her social media, where she made derogatory comments about the judges handling her case. These videos were played in open court, prompting the judge to summon Adablah to explain why she shouldn’t be held in contempt.

The news of the arrest was first shared by GHOneTV on May 5, 2025, and quickly spread on social media, especially given the public attention surrounding her legal battle.

2

Adablah's case began in January 2023 when she filed a lawsuit against her former office partner, Ernest Nimako, who had been the Chief Finance Officer at First National Atlantic Bank, where she worked during her National Service. She claimed Nimako promised her a car, housing for three years, and a monthly allowance of GH₵3,000, along with promises of marriage and financial support for a business.

However, the situation turned sour a year later, with Nimako reclaiming the car and halting the accommodation payments. On November 28, 2023, the court ruled that her case lacked merit, agreeing that she had not raised any valid issues in her suit.
