The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has responded to technical challenges some applicants are facing in uploading mandatory documents during the online license application process.

To ease the burden on affected applicants, GoldBod has announced that individuals may go ahead and submit their applications online even if they are unable to upload all required supporting documents.

1

However, applicants are required to submit any outstanding mandatory documents within 30 days of completing the online application. Failure to meet this deadline may affect the processing of their license requests.

2

Under this temporary arrangement, the documents that can be submitted after the initial online application include:

3

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Permit

4

Business Operating Permit

5

Tax Clearance Certificate

6

SSNIT Clearance Certificate

7

Police Report

8

GoldBod emphasized that this directive is aimed at ensuring the application process remains accessible while maintaining compliance standards.
