The skipper of Dorman-based club Aduana Stars, Yahaya Mohammed, risks suspension for assaulting a fan during their last Confederations Cup home game against Asec Mimosas.
The striker is alleged to have slapped a fan who confronted him after the game.

The assaulted fan, Ernest Appiah Kubi, was believed to have poured the frustration of the defeat on the captain for serving the fans with a bad result after calling on them to fill the stands.
Yahaya Mohammed has explained that his action was in self-defence.
Meanwhile, Management of the side is bent on reprimanding their captain by slapping him with an unknown number of weeks’ suspension to serve as a deterrent to others.

The captain did not feature in the game against ASEC Mimosa due to ill health.
