Ghanaian afro-pop singer Vera Hameno-Kpeda, popularly known as MzVee, has conceded that many female celebrities live fake lifestyles.
Her comments were in relation to findings made by an anonymous researcher, which suggested 99% of female celebrities fake their lifestyles.
Speaking on the Gee Spot show on Joy Prime, MzVee said she is least surprised by the statistics.
According to her, she “won’t be shocked†if the numbers presented are a true reflection of what is happening in the showbiz industry.
The ‘Natural Girl’ hit maker explained that most ladies in showbiz are keen on keeping up with competition and this drives them to present nonexistent wealth to the public.
“Girls, we are a different breed, we have too many things going on with us and we tend to live by what we hear and how we feel. Ladies are easily persuaded by all kinds of social pressure. If you are not brought up with confidence and you don’t grow in the knowledge that being authentic and staying true to yourself is 100% enough, you will fall really easily,†she stated.
The songstress recently celebrated her 26 birthday at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.
