Gospel musician Piesie Esther has said she is unfazed about who will emerge victorious in the race for the 2023 VGMA Gospel Song award.

Celestine Donkor, Diana Hamilton, Joe Mettle, Perez Musik, Bethel Revival Ministries, Ewurabena and MOG Music are those competing for this award.

Despite the big names nominated, Piesie Esther says she is not worried since she does not see the nominees as rivals.

According to the “Waye Me Yie” star, these are brothers and sisters working to spread the word of God.

“I am not terrified seeing them nominated for the same category as me because we are brothers and sisters doing the work of God.”

According to her, she wasn’t surprised to be nominated in seven categories because she believes it is the will of the Lord.

She further stated that the best songwriter is one category she is looking forward to because she knew ‘Waye me yie’ would go far and it has and she is grateful to God.
